A Paleo Morning To You: Breakfast!

Ham, egg, red onion, tomato, avocado, oregano, hymalayan sea salt.

Come on, look me in the eyes, Paleo is so good! Who can skip a breakfast like this?

Actually I did for most of my life. First as a kid having the typical sugar cereal, milk and orange juice, and later with peanut butter and jelly, very thick. Then as a vegan fruits and bread and maple syrup and honey. Basically all these choices, complex or simple, are carbs, carbo-hydrates, sugar sugar sugar… Eating Paleo I’m losing all desires for breads, pastas and sweets, with all of the health benefits. I now crave for a beef jerky, not a doughnot or a muffin!

Let’s end breakfast with a small reflection; there are essential fatty acids, essentials amino acids (proteins) but there are no essential carbs, none, nada. Our bodies, wonderfull bodies, can get all the carbs that it needs from fruits, veggies, proteins and fats. No oily grains for me, I’m a fat fueled organism!
